What we do

Kingston Arts aims to represent, publicise and enhance the activities of the voluntary and professional arts sector in the Borough and to present, with our partners, high-profile arts activities. We also run networking events for affiliates and the local arts community.

We currently organise the Festival of the Voice, host regular Arts Salons, and collaborate on the Kingston Summer Arts Season (formerly Kingston Contemporary Open) as well as supporting other performances, shows and exhibitions in a wide range of local venues.

We work closely with Kingston University, Kingston Music and Arts Service, the Rose Theatre, the Royal Borough of Kingston Council’s Arts Office and numerous affiliated societies and individuals.

We also promote events and activities of other arts organisations through the wide-ranging communication channels available across the Borough.

Festival of the Voice

The Festival of the Voice is a bi-annual festival showcasing the best of the talent that Kingston borough has to offer.
Below are some images from the event that took place in February and March 2014, watch this space for news about the next festival!

Arts Salons

Kingston Arts organises regular networking events for its members which also reach out to the wider local arts community. Arts Salons provide a great opportunity for arts practitioners to meet and share creative ideas with others working in all aspects of music, drama and the arts in Kingston.
